Original 4 Rack Electric Smoker
Decent
It's a decent smoker, I just wish it had a better heating element in it. If you live in a colder climate, it struggles sometimes to keep up to temp. I like the idea of this smoker, easy to use, and has a good smoke flavor. It's light enough to move around and the smoker box removes easily.
Great idea, but heat element sucks.
I really like the idea of this smoker, but the heating element is way under powered. I can't get it above 250* cranked all the way up. It's 50* outside with no wind. I live up north so 50* in December is a warm day. Trying this smoker when is 20* outside would be frustrating. Recovery time is not good either when you open the door. It looks like I'll be doing the mod with a bigger heating element. Come on, Bradley, people have been complaining about this for years. Quit be so cheap and put a bigger heating element it your smokers.
Back to the Bradley
I used to have a second hand Bradley original and it lasted me over ten years. I have a pellet grill but it just doesn’t give me the same satisfaction. I just bought a new Bradley and already made kielbasa and chicken thighs. Excellent. I can’t wait to try smoked cheese.
My second Bradley - great except for...
This smoker is wonderful. I got my first one back around 2012 or so as a Christmas gift. I moved, and left it with my son. Bought a new one, and well, I love it. But I failed to read the fine print when ordered, and did not realize it did not come with the wood biscuits/pucks. So then I had to try 2 different stores (Cabelas and Sportsmans Warehouse) to get them- no dice. With the Salmon now in my refrigerator, for too long I got them from Amazon. Look marketing team, here is some helpful advice- When selling a premium smoker that is designed to compete with pellet smokers and your product uses a proprietary smoking fuel, INCLUDE a dozen or so to "get folks started" Think about when you were a kid and got that great toy for Christmas, but the manufacturer did not send any batteries...Big ol' bummer.
